When did your LO start to sit up on his/her own?

My LO is 5 1/2 months and sits upright great with assistance, I'm just wondering when other babies started to sit up on their own with no assistance? 🤔 👶🏼

My baby was 5 months on Saturday and can sot unaided but not for very long. He has only just learmt to roll front to back and I know others who could do that at 3 months. Babies just go at their own pace

5 months he held it for a few seconds and then after a few weeks of practicing he can hold it for several minutes and lean over and balance again. He is 6 months today.

Since he was 5 months but he sitted assisted since 3-4 months ..

My son has been able to sit decently since he was 4 months, but not for long periods. He turns 6 weeks on the 11th and is just now sitting completely on his own. Sometimes he'll get tired of sitting and will purposely make himself fall and roll over to a toy. For the most part he loves sitting and playing with toys we put in front of him. I still keep an eye on him though.
