does losing virginity affect cycle?

I could use some help. I know there's a huge stigma behind posts like this but I think most people can relate to feeling unsettled when our period doesn't come on time. I had sex a day before my period came for the first time- it didn't last too long because I had to go home, and so nobody came and we for sure used a condom. Now my period is two days late. I've been feeling period symptoms but still haven't had any bleeding and I'm starting to get worried-not too much though because I know if I get upset it will delay it longer. Saturday, the day before I lost my virginity i was very upset because of some depression I've been dealing with. Do you think this could affect my period being late? Also does losing your virginity affect your cycle? Mine normally falls between 21-27 days so it's not necessarily regular, I think it's been 23 days since my last period. Any help appreciated.
