Aversion? Breech baby?

Has anyone had an aversion at 37 eeeks brofre? If so was it successful? What was your experience? ?? Im scheduled for one next week if the baby doesnt turn...

I admittedly didn't know any different before , because I always thought breech meant c-section, but I was allowed, even encouraged, to deliver my baby breech. If it had been my first, maybe not, but it was a very quick and very good labour. I feel so lucky and really feel for all of you that are not even given the option. So sorry!

I found out my son was breach at 38 weeks and the option was told to me by my doctor but I never gave it any thought. I never wanted a csection but i felt like my son was breech for a reason and it was safer for both of us to deliver him by csection. It works for some people but i didnt want to chance it.

No I just went ahead with the c section. The cord was in a dangerous spot and could've wrapped around his neck if I tried.

My daughter was breech and they attempted to turn her. It's very unpleasant and can be stressful on the baby. Her heart rate dipped and they paused. When they did she went back to where she was. They gave me a option to try again and I said no. It was painful!

My sister had one and baby turned again. She had twins previously so she had a lot of extra space for her single baby. The doctor turned her baby again during labor and they actually had to hold the baby in position until she started coming out. I had a breech baby. I thought my baby was breech and asked my doctor to check and he felt my stomach and said head down. I ended up with an emergency c section because the hospital found out baby was breech when I was almost ready to push baby out.

I was given the option at 38 wks but refused because baby can be very destressed quickly and you'll have an emergency csection in that case. Just never wanted to chance it. But I prayed and 2 days later after scheduling my csection my little girl turned on her own. Now mind you that was awful uncomfortable... lol we kept the csection day but proceeded with a vaginal induction. She's 13 now! If you want to try it you give it a try but I was way to worried of what could happen.

I have decided against trying a version after my dr explained the process and told me it's only a 50% success rate, and the possibilities for baby distress and emergency c section.  I hope it works for you. I'm going a different route with acupuncture and moxibustion and hoping for the best.
