period like cramps??

Okay ladies, I'm 25 weeks pregnant, and for about an hour I've had period like cramps that hurt & a lot of back pain. I can't get comfortable. I've laid back on the couch & drank water. Is there anything else I can do?? Advice pretty please.

Update : I was having contractions last night. We went to the ER and I was put on an IV and got checked. Everything with the baby is fine and I'm going to see my normal doctor tomorrow to go from there!!!

If it gets too extreme or continues don't be afraid to call an on-call doctor or L&D. There's a lot of stretching going on in your belly, but you know the difference by now of ligament pain and period cramps. Don't let them tell you it's just ligament pain if you are experiencing this.
