Lemon bite, abuse or not? 🍋💦😖

A close friend of mine said his wife was very upset when he allowed their 9 month old to take a bite out of a lemon, calling it abuse because it's intentionally hurting their child for small kicks. I never thought it was abuse, just a cute gesture a lot of parents do with their babies at some point. Do you think it's abuse or just fine?
