Anyone know of a laxative that's safe to take? I'm extremely constipated and stool softeners arent working..

Also bananas and rice will add to you problem so try to avoid those for a while.

Magnesium citrate and saline enemas we're both approved by my doctor!

You can take milk of magnesia!! Not all the time, but for severe constipation it's on my list of cleared medications!

Colace is one that my doctor said is safe. It's a stool softener.
