I swear that the first day or two when I have heavier cramps it makes me poop more throughout the day? Does that happen to anyone else or am I just imagining shit? No pun intended

It's the worst I remember in my first year or so with my period I was in the middle of the state test for my school and I finished early and asked if I could go to bathroom I was bleeding so much and I was a bit constipated I was in the bathroom for at LEAST a half hour like FML uuuugggggghhhhhh I had to try and hold it for the next section of the test bc I couldnt push it out 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

When you have a period you have a drop in progesterone which causes you to have to poop more ON TOP of the fact that the contractions (cramps) make you need to poop more. It's very common and normal.
