Does anyone have tricare

Hi. Im five weeks pregnant in switched to tricare care prime which doesn't go into effect onn to May 1. Do i just wait in start in may. I never used tricare so any info is good info. Tia

They will see you before May and if they charge you a copay (I doubt it) it will be reembirsed to the sponser. The only thing that is the expeception to that is dental. Dental you would have to wait for.

I had to get a pregnancy confirmation test first and then they referred me to an OB. My first OB appt is at 8 weeks.

I had an intake appt at 7-8 weeks and my first ob appt on post at 13 weeks. I would call the ob office and get advice for what they would want you to do. We're you standard before this or are you new with tricare?

Yes you'll have your first appointment which is orentation but after that they won't see you till your 14 plus weeks so you'll be good by then
