My parents just bought $500 tickets for me to go see ed sheeran a song writer I'm in love with. When they told me immediately I was like "ok, but I don't have the money to pay you back" and they said it would be a big present for my birthday, and they know I've been through a lot lately. But I just can't get excited. I want to but I just can't :(((((((((((

There's really nothing wrong with not being overly excited. I think when you get there and your in the moment it'll kick in. I kinda react the same way I just don't get to excited cause I don't want to be disappointed.

Considering that you have been through a lot recently, I understand why you might not be as excited about it. That's completely okay. I wish I could give you some good advice but tbh I don't know what to say. I have experienced something like that before. Instead of being overly excited I just went with the flow and let things happen.
