husband says I need to be more cognizant..
Let me preface by saying my husband is a great guy! He's so loving and supportive. In terms of the household, he doesn't really pick up or clean but he loves to cook and he helps fold the laundry (he also does the trash/recycling and empties the dishwasher). Anyways, last night he comes home from work (we both work full time), and he says he's going to make dinner. He asks me if I'll do some laundry and I said I had already thrown a load in. He says, "ok so my red shorts from tennis are in there?" And I said, "I don't know. I don't remember seeing them." So he walks out of the room and comes back in with his tennis bag (that's been sitting in the living room for 3 days - I'll pick up stuff he leaves lying around sometimes but I refuse to unpack/empty his bags). Anyways, he walks back in the bedroom and says to me, "Can you be more cognizant of this bag?" I said "What do you mean?" And he says "Can you be more aware of this bag when it's lying around?" And I said "I'm aware of it, it's been in the living room the past couple days" and he says "no, like when you do laundry and see this bag lying around will u empty it and add the clothes in" and I said "I'll wash any clothes you put in the laundry basket but I'm not emptying your bag for you." And I jokingly say, "I thought I was your wife not your mom" and he says (jokingly) "but I thought you were my mom". 😂😂 luckily we joke a lot and so it ended funny and he promised to empty it next time in the laundry bin but men KILL me. Like it's my job to empty ur tennis bag and put the clothes in the laundry? Hahaha
