Imagine: you're parents are extremely rich and they don't like the person you're dating so they offer them money to end the relationship. When you SO tells you what happened and that they took the money but still plan on being with you would you be mad? Comment your reason.

Yes. If nothing else that's being dishonest. If he cares about you then he should have told your parents to fuck off and that no amount of money could make him not want to see you again.

I would disown my parents and run away with him and the money they gave him as well as anything else I could take.
