Pointless Relationship

I absolutely love my boyfriend but we have different views on religion and politics. I don't have a religion and don't want one but if we get married I'm 'supposed' to convert to his religion...no thank you. Then we have totally different views on politics.... We love each other but it just seems like we won't be able to get over the religion thing which breaks my heart.....any views?
