Never Be a Wife :(

My boyfriend and I were discussing our religious views (he's Catholic and I'm Agnostic) and he told me straight up, "Well you will never be a wife." And laughed in my face then said I was depressed about life. He also started being really rude even after I heard him talk about and explain to me his view on his religion. I made no comments but said I understood and it made sense, but when it came to me he practically insulted me! ;-;

Am I over reacting?
