I have severe depression but i havent tried to kill myself, its different for every person... but if youve tried to commit suicide thats definitely a sign of severe depression

I'm diagnosed as severe and I am not suicidal so any suicide attempts I would count as severe. You should talk to a doctor to get help. They will want to evaluate you but it's just asking questions. Don't be embarrassed or afraid they want to help you. It took me several years before I broke down and asked for help. See if someone close to you can go with you.
