video before epidural?

At my baby shower today my husbands aunt told us that the hospital likes you to watch an hour long video about the epidural before they give it to you. She said they email it to you. I've never heard of this before. She hasn't had any kids in 21 years. And the hospital didn't tell me this when I was asking about the epidural last time I went in. Could she just be wrong?

I actually had to watch a video with my first 17 years ago per hospital protocol to be able to relieve epidural.. when I went to birth my son 3 years after birthing my first it was no longer required.

There was a video I watched about the epidural before I was induced, but it was just a few minutes not an hour long!

I didn't want a video but my hospital gave me a sheet to review and then a waiver to sign.
