In my personal opinion neither is a sin, just sad. I think everyone deserves to live and to see any life go to waste is heartbreaking.

Is there a ranking for sins? My mother has always told me suicide is the worst sin and you automatically go to hell for committing suicide but I actually have no idea. I think it's kind of messed up if that's the case.
