Okay so I am letting hubby choose our little boys name he chose Zane... but I told him only if I could choose the spelling and I need help which spelling should I choose?!?! I absolutely love the spelling of zyaine but everyone has been judging it I thought it was cute because it's very different and my name is spelt kinady and not Kennedy

Zyaine would be pronounced zy-ane which is completely different to Zane. It's still cute but defo not the same name, if you wanted a "different" spelling maybe Zayne?

I think it's important to make names phonetically make sense. If you want it pronounced "Zane", then Zaine or Zayne works, but not Zyaine. Like, what are people supposed to be doing with that "y"? Besides the pronunciation though, I think it's a little confusing for a kid who hasn't learned language yet to be given a name that doesn't follow phonics or English language rules.
