When do you need to stop sterilizing bottles after every use?

Repeatedly sterilizing plastic causes it to break down and leach more chemicals into your baby's milk. Soap and water are all you need ☺

I only sterilize plastic items when they are new out of the package. After that I just put them in the dishwasher.

I will sterilise bottles until my baby stops having formula. Formula can have harmful bacteria in it and I don't trust warm soapy water to get in all the little grooves and remove all the formula. I personally don't think you can be too careful. I would keep sterilising, it only takes a few minutes for peace of mind and replace the teats every few months.

I've only ever sterilized once a week. Babies are resilient. I will not put my baby in a bubble.

I sterilized them before the first use and then hot water and soap is all I use to clean them. If you over sterilize the plastics can break down
