Does vitex delay your period???

I think Vitex may have delayed my period. This is the first cycle I ever took it and I am 3 days late. That is the only thing I have changed this cycle was taking Vitex. Has this ever happened to anyone else.

Hello, I have been taking Vitex for a couple of months and this month my period is 12 days late. (I am not pregnant).  I starting taking it just to balance my hormones as I had bad acne quite some time after stopping the pill.  I had regular periods finally though and now it's messed up again.  Probably better to stop taking them right?

The first cycles I've read it will make your period longer up to a week, it's just the vitex working up in your system. I do know if you don't have irregular cycles it will not work and will totally mess with your cycles and make them longer. 
I've been taking vitex for about 5 weeks. Started it on cd61 and I'm on cd92 with no period. I've had ewcm for the first time after stopping bc but the ewcm is going on 2 weeks and 1 day. I don't think that's normal. 
I'm starting to think even though I have long cycles cuz of bc I should have just let my body be and not have taken vitex.  I'm thinking about stopping it.

I’ve been taking it for a month and I am currently 4 days late! I took one yesterday afternoon and came out negative! So maybe it will come late..? I don’t know hope it’s for a good reason! Mom said she dreamed about fishes

The advice from my acupuncturist was only take it to support ovulation on days 9-14 and then stop.  It isn't good to take if you are pregnant.  It is a hormonal regulation herb and it relieves PMS symptoms and builds progesterone up with lengthens cycles.  Tricky thing to take.  I would recommend regular acupuncture to help achieve pregnancy and get your cycles back to normal.

I took Vitex to try to regulate my cycles, Took it for most of last cycle and stopped it when I had horrible symptoms (I thought we're pregnancy symptoms but we're not) for over two whole weeks before my period. Still had a 40 day cycle😞 good luck to you though!
