First night home. When we first showed up she would NOT stop crying, pacifying my breast, and freaking out. We tried EVERYTHING we could and still couldn't figure it out. She ended up sort of crying herself to sleep while skin to skin with me....so that's what we've decided to do for the time being. She has fed once since the original falling asleep and did a great job at transportation if from my breast to up on my chest to sleep (not crying like she does everytime you try and move her from the breast). Hoping this is okay to do? I don't wanna sleep skin to skin all the time but we live in an apartment and it's hard not to be overwhelmed with stress of a new baby, trying to be considerate of our neighbors, and trying to stay sane with little sleep. Anyone else skin to skin sleep their first night home?
