Hi everyone! This is my first post so please bare with me. I have a 5yo daughter and shortly after her birth I got a mirena. I was having some hormonal issues so I had it removed after about 2 years. After many discussions my partner and I decided I should try it again (about 4 months after the 1st removal) and that went fine until it because dislodged and I had it removed (no surgery required) in September 2016. Around this time we decided we wanted to try for baby #2 so I had it removed and got a period almost immediately following. I had 2 months of normal periods then had a few months where I had 2 short periods. Now we're in mid April and I still have yet to conceive. We're both healthy 28 year olds with no prior health issues. My 1st pregnancy was perfect (yes, perfect! If you'd like me to elaborate don't hesitate to ask) so I'm having some trouble wrapping my head around the fact that something could be wrong with either of us. For our age and health history is makes no sense that I haven't conceived or that it's taking this long. Any advice on what we should/could to to better our chances at getting pregnant? Btw, sex isn't the issue here. We're very active 😉
