when to start taking OPKs

Hi! So today is the last day of my period (day 5 of my cycle). My husband and I have been TTC for a few months now. This month we wanted to try OPKs for the first time. My cycle is anywhere between 30-35 days. How early do you start taking the OPKs? I know on a typical 28 day cycle, day 14 is typically when you ovulate. But with my cycles anywhere between 30-35 days, when would be the best day for me to start doing the OPKs? Thanks in advance!

I test with cheap ovulation test I get off of amazon the day after I finish my cycle.. so around day 6-7. I start using clear blue advanced digital around day 12. Here lately I have been ovulating late, day 19 and 20, so I've been having to test longer than usual.

There is a chart that comes with the OPK and it will tell you how many days into your cycle to start testing. Find 32 on the chart and see how many days into your cycle, you need to test. Include the day you start your period as day one. Hope this helps! Good luck! ❤
