I've only had one shot. I got it at the end of November. When it came time for the next one in February, I decided not to get it. I did have sex once without a condom during the first month in the shot. The day I had sex I should have been on period. I'm assuming I missed that period because of the shot. In January I had a couple of days of spotting and one day of an actual period, then back to spotting for a couple of weeks. After that nothing. I have missed two periods now. I've heard some have had heavy bleeding after getting off of the shot. I have taken a pregnancy test but it came back negative. I was concerned because of  some symptoms I'm having that are not my usual pms symptoms. If anyone who has only had the shot one time, how long did it take for you to get a period again?
