I'm a overthinker and overreactor? It plays a huge role

In my depression. Is there anyone else who deals with this? What do you or what did you do to solve this problem?

Answer

Always had to deal with it. It was worst before and during my depression; now that my life's much better, I think I can handle it more easily. I really don't have any tricks, I suck at managing my own feelings. They overwhelm me.
Try not to deny your emotions and keep your mind busy with other things. When I was really depressed I used to have an urge to do things like doing the shopping with my mom, going to the doctor with her, taking my sister to birthday parties, etc. I was afraid of doing nothing. I mean, I was sick of crying and wanted to avoid it.

My husbands a big over thinker. He has started asking himself what's the worst that could happen.  And then asking himself what he would do if that happened. And then he feels like he has a plan for the worst case scenario and it helps him to not over think things to death
