From picking the house we purchased, to now deciding our wedding venue..

It's too much and I'm getting depressed!

My fiancé and I argued all yesterday and they had to get involved in that too.

I don't know how I can do this anymore

I'm fighting it, my fiancé is 100% behind them and I'm exhausted from fighting him

Why are you allowing it? You said they picked the house you bought?  That's something you have control of. Why are you letting them ?

Premarital counseling.  Get some now.  Sounds like you need some help setting boundaries and dealing with expectations.  The counseling will cover things like that and many other things that are likely to come up.

Unfortunately if your fiancé is allowing this to happen and he's backing THEM up, this would be many many 🚩🚩🚩🚩. It's only helping to get worse after marriage if HE doesn't stop being a mama and daddy's boy. How did they even know you guys were arguing yesterday?? He told them?? 🤦🏻‍♀️

My parents are like this with my husband and I. Before I got married I always took my dads advice. But now I have a husband to make decisions with. So I can listen to my dads advice but in the end my husband and I have to make the decision. Sounds like your fiancé needs to practice that.  Talk to him about it. My husband talked to me about it and I didn't even realize I was doing it.

Kinda same situation . me and my fiance are eloping and telling everyone that we are having a wedding party in a few years . at the end of the day the stress isnt worth the fighting . its only about you guys not them . my fiance and i are in agreement that its his best friend and mine and a jp for our wedding
