What a surprise!

Samantha
Since the moment I found out I was pregnant, I had the strong feeling it was going to be a boy. At our 16 week ultrasound, we were told "those three lines are the labia." Of course I was not upset at all. I've had many losses, and I've just been hoping for a BABY. We were told, "now it's still quite early, so don't be going out and buying anything pink until we know for sure." But to be honest, after all of the ultrasounds I've seen on here, I would say I felt like I was quite the pro at detecting the sex of the baby. I was pretty sure I was seeing those three lines as well.
Baby fever never quite hit. After those many losses, I don't have the same excitement as other expecting mothers out there. So, I haven't bought anything yet, although I was quite sure we were having a girl. We were already referring to the baby by the name we were going to give her. We never told anyone the sex, because I wanted to wait until my 20 week scan, which was today.
So today, we found out we are having a boy. An obvious boy. My gut feeling was right the whole time. And what's funny, is that I had a dream last night that we found out it was going to be a boy instead of a girl at this appointment!!
I am so excited and hyped because of this surprise that was thrown at us, that I'm pretty sure my baby fever is here!
Our gender reveal party is this Saturday, and although I've already ordered the pink smoke bomb and have to figure out now how the hell we are going to reveal the actual sex of the baby, I cannot wait to tell our friends and family of this story!
Here is our boy, Vincent.
