M/C or not conceive?" /> I'm genuinely curious... I tested very early and got a faint line. My sister told me to stop testing because it can cause me to never get pregnant.. has this happened to anyone????

Prolonged stress and anxiety can have adverse effects on the body. While I'm not sure how it effects conceiving, I've heard that stress isn't good for the foetus.

It's actually a myth that stress causes miscarriages BUT prolonged periods of stress raises cortisol levels which can affect baby's brain and lead to premature birth and low birth weight.

And yes, it can affect fertility.

It's not just physical happenings that can cause a miscarriage. Our bodies take many different things into consideration that we may never be aware of.

Stress can trigger an early period or delay them, as well as contribute to headaches, cramps, migraines, soreness etc. when pregnant your body sometimes decides it is not the right time regardless of what you consciously want. 
Your body is trying to preserve yourself, and when you're stressed, underweight, malnourished, have a disease of some form etc the chance of miscarriages rise as your body begins to sense a threat with the possibility of carrying the pregnancy.

If you feel nervous or unsure about anything happening call your doctor and thoroughly discuss what you personally need to be wary of when pregnant.
