swim pants?

FTM here... if you were to take your baby "swimming" in a little kiddie pool in your backyard, do you need to put swim pants on them? Can you do just a swim suit?

Do you mean the swimming diapers? They pretty much just hold poop and absorb less pool water. It's your choice really

I'd still use a swim diaper. I'm not as worried if they pee in the pool but poop contains lots of bacteria and it's better if it's caught in the diaper. Any public pool will also require a swim diaper until your child is fully potty trained so it's just a good habit.

You don't need one, but you don't want your baby peeing or pooping in the water either. Unless you're OK with disinfecting the kiddie pool if something happens.
