How do you do it?

When you brush your teeth do you put your toothbrush under water after you put the toothpaste on it? Or do you skip the run under water after putting on the toothpaste and just start brushing?

I don't wet the brush or the toothpaste. I remember my dentist telling me not to in my teens and it's always stuck with me although I can't remember the reason why. I don't rinse with water after brushing either.

I do it both before and after toothpaste. Before to sort of rinse it off, then toothpaste, then again otherwise I feel too dry when I start brushing.

I use water but you're actually not supposed to! You're supposed to put the paste right on ur dry toothbrush and then brush it on ur teeth! Then wash off with water!
