when does it end??

When does this 4 month sleep regression end?? Baby has been so fussy and clingy and nursing all over the place. I literally am carrying him all day or laying next to him. Ftm here and I have no idea when this will end!

At this point I'm just hoping she'll be able to sleep on her own and not wake me up in the middle of the night before college...

We hit it just as she got an ear infection,  so that was difficult! But we learned a new way that she likes to fall asleep that has helped fall back into our old sleep routines.

She is just so interested in everything around her, that we learned she needs us to hold her as if we would rock her, but literally don't move a muscle! Any stimulation means play right now. We hold her still, no rocking or bouncing, can't make eye contact or she wants to smile and play. She also now likes a blanket partially covering her face to fall asleep. We've found this new method puts her into a deeper sleep and she will sleep longer than if she falls asleep any other way.

I think they are just curious little beings who are enjoying their wake time more and more. Try new things to see if something else works for you. If not, they will grow out of it eventually. Good luck!

I think it gets better at 6 months, based on the people I have talked to. "Ohhhhh, we're halfway theeeerreee." 🎶🎶🎶 But it's not fun.
