Is it safe to get a pedicure and the massage in the first trimester?

My doc ok'd it. Just make sure you don't get too warm with your feet in the water. It's only your feet and it's a short time. Not long and whole body like a bath which isn't okay.

A lot of spas won't allow massage first trimester even if the therapist is certified with prenatal, it doesn't cause miscarriage but they don't want the liability of someone blaming them if they happen to miscarry around the same time of service.

I was told yes to a pedicure but no massaging of the legs/feet as there are pressure points that can trigger uterine contractions and possibly cause miscarriage.
