should I be concerned?

This morning when I first went pee, I wiped and there was a little bit of egg white consistency discharge, but it was a brownish tint of red kind of color. I haven't really been cramping, and was told I should only be concerned if I am having severe cramps, and/or bleeding bright red. Hubby and I decided that we will go to the hospital only when that happens, but I just cannot for the life of me stop stressing myself out about it!! I'm wondering if any of you fine ladies have experienced this before and if you sought medical attention. I should add that I have my next app this Monday, hubby thinks we should wait until then as well. Advice please?
