What would you say to your future daughter?

Hey guys! I'm working on a university project called Dear Future Daughter.

I would love it if you shared your unique story as a woman. I want to know: What advice do you have for your future daughter? or What would you tell your younger self if you could go back in time?

Feel free to to share in video, writing, photos, poetry, etc.

Think of it as a reflection but also helping other women learn from what you've been through. I know we all have a lot to learn and teach each other.

Dear future daughter,

If you're anything like me, your teenage years will be hectic and you won't know what to do with yourself. Just know, it does get better when you're older so please take a step back and be a kid! Drugs are tempting, drinking looks cool, and sex is this magical thing... but none of those are true. Drugs will seriously change your cognitive being, drinking will put you in scary situations, and sex is serious so please be safe and come to me if you need anything! Don't ever been afraid to come to me out of fear I'll judge you or you'll get introuble. You are my main priority and no matter what you do I'll love you. If you need help, just ask. If you don't know what to do, come to me. I'll be tough on you and have expectations that seem impossible but it's only because I know what an amazing woman you will grow up to be. Stay away from that boy/girl (whichever you prefer) who is up to no good, he will hurt you. Don't let anyone take advantage of you. Be strong. You are beautiful no matter your size. I love you.

    I promise to love you when you hate me through the difficult years as a teenager and to always protect you and to push you to your fullest potential I promise I'll choose a dad that will be there for you always and scare away any guy that's not meant to be there I also promise that even though you'll never meet your grandmother to spoil you rotten she's watching over you in heaven if you ever are sad I'll be there for you and if you ever need a friend I'll be there for you life isn't Always easy but just know when life gets tough at the end of the day you'll always have a crazy family that you can depend on I promise that if I you ever scrape your knee I'll kiss it better but the most important thing is that I promise I'll be there for you first at a mother second as a friend
