Hi guys, how is everyone? I am wondering if it's normal to take 3 days regular period? Earlier it used to be 5-7 days. Should I be worried about that while trying to get pregnant?

Hi Vinca,
I understand that changes to your period while trying to conceive can be scary. While I haven't heard anything about period length affecting conceiving, I think it would be best to speak with your gynecologist. My flow is usually only heavy for two days with two days of light flow or spotting, but it's been like that since I went off the pill 10 years ago. My fertility doctor seems unphased by my period changes. My cycles go from 21-27 days and he says that's fine, although I find it very frustrating. Talk to your doctor to get some peace of mind. Try not to worry about something being a problem until it's confirmed as a problem. 😊

My last two periods since coming off birth control have started with spotting for a day or two then a day or two days of normal bleeding then a day or two of spotting again. I have an appointment on May 5th to hopefully start clomid. I'm hoping that will help get things going so we can conceive
