anyone in here give birth at a birthing center?

I just want to know how the experience was and if you would do it again?

Yes and it was amazing! I labored at home as long as possible and when I came in I was 6 cm and baby was out a few hours later. It was so nice to not have someone constantly nagging at you like in a hospital! I stayed in the shower most of the time and once an hour or so a nurse came in with a Doppler and got in the shower to check babies heartbeat and my blood pressure. I never had to lay down or answer any questions, and it was so nice to not have anyone pushing pain meds on me, I honestly didn't think about needing them once because they weren't there! 
I was pushing for 3 hours which would have never been allowed in a hospital, but it was worth it because I had no tearing!

My absolute favorite part about the birth center was going home a few hours later. They came and checked on baby after an hour of skin to skin cuddles. Then they did all of my checks and left so we could cuddle more. Then they came back twice more to check time and baby, and the third time they came back I was up packing our things to leave. 😂

It was a really great experience to labor independently and have someone there as a facilitator rather than a doctor just trying to get baby out! This was our first but we'll absolutely be doing it again with our next child.

Yes i did and it was my best birth out of 5 deliveries. I've had one hospital birth with a md....3 birthing center in hospital births with midwives which were also very nice. But the best was with my biggest baby thus far....at the stand alone birthing center. Very calm. All my births have been unmedicated vaginal deliveries

I laboured there for 5 hours before having  to be transferred, I really prefer a birth centre over a hospital... it's so beautiful and calming.
