Progesterone came back at 3.2 on CD 29.... need advice

That's bad, right? I've been ttc for 3 1/2 years. I've done the clomid and Femara thing progesterone was at 2... My RE wanted me to try 2000 MG of metformin to see if that would help. I've taken that for 2 months... I'm not too overweight and I have lost 25 pounds. I have PCOS and only 1 tube..
