If I leave my 10 day old at home with my MIL so I can run to the drug store? I just need to get out of the house for a few minutes!

Definitely not. It's a store trip - you wouldn't be selfish if you were going out for the night! It's obvious it's not a habit of yours, but we do need a break sometimes

I started leaving my baby with my husband when he was 10 days old, only for little things like going to the airport to pick up my family or run to the supermarket. I can tell you I cried the first time, it was so sad! Now I just call him like 2-3 times and send messages like a crazy every hour 😅
