Mucus plug?

Is anyone else losing pieces of their mucus plug already? The last couple weeks I've been losing pretty big pieces (like the size of a quarter) and just thought it was weird. I was 35 weeks with my last baby before I started losing anything. I know it regenerates, but I was curious if other people are having the same issue

I think it's normal for pieces to come out here and there throughout pregnancy. It regenerates itself.

It could be something else--(This is gross but could be reassuring!) This was happening to me and after 20 minutes spent googling it I came to the conclusion that it's probably semen mixed with normal mucus-y discharge. It's happened at least a few times and always within 24 hours of the last time we had sex.

As long as there's no blood you should be fine!

I don't want to freak you out but mine came out because I was in labor. I couldn't feel my contractions. I had my daughter at 23 weeks. Just get checked to be safe.
