What is a REASONABLE amount of formula?

Southwest Airlines says that you can bring a "reasonable" amount of formula on their flights. I have a 6 count 8 oz ready-to-feed formula pack. I'd like to get another pack (or one of those big single jugs of ready-to-feed formula) so I don't have to go out and get more formula the next day or two after landing. Is that considered okay?

Maybe call and ask them what's considered reasonable. If it's possible talk to some one higher up in the company

When we flew we took 3 full bottles packed in a cooler bag with ice packs. We also had 3 cans in our suitcase that went under the plane. It was enough for a full day when my 4 month old was taking that much. Mind you it was a different airline but still. That seems reasonable to me.

Are you taking it in your carry-on or packing it in your suitcase?

That is too much for a carry on. Just put the excess in your luggage.
