I just had my HSG Test and I was a little nervous because I have heard it's uncomfortable. Well... let me just say .. it was painful! The nurse practictioner and her assistant were very nice and talking me through it... but oh my was did it hurt! Now I heard it hurts more if you have blockage.. I didn't have any. She said everything looked good. She did say my left side was being reluctant to allowing the dye in and had a little spasm but other than that she said everything was fine! The tube or spectrum she inserted was just a little uncomfortable.. it was when she injected the dye that I was like keeling over from! After she took everything out, I felt much better and just had mild cramps and light bleeding for the day.
