Bath time ?

Hello mommas! Is it ok that water goes in babies ears while I give her a bath...my LO is 6 weeks old and my MIL tells me that I shouldn't wet her ears because I can cause her to get an ear ache...i do my best but when I wash her hair water sometimes lingeres in...

At the hospital they actually showed us to fold baby's ear over when rinsing his head so that's what we do

The Dr at our hospital showed us how to bath our baby before we were discharged. After washing her, she placed one hand under her head and let her float about with her body submurged. Obviously her face was out of the water, but her ears were definitely under. We have done it that way for the last 6 weeks with no problems :)

I got it in my son's ears accidentally about two weeks ago when he was 4 weeks. He was fine. Yelled a little bit in the moment but nothing after. It's probably best to keep it out though.

Try your best not to. It can lead to an ear infection. Try and hold the baby so the water runs over their head and not their face or use a cup
