Is anyone else, besides yourself, getting the TDAP vaccine? (husband, mother...)

Only my husband. I grew up in a medical family so I know many doctors and nurses, including my own mother. They all say that unless someone is around he baby all the time (a baby sitter or someone who lives in the house), then they don't need to get it.

I am asking anyone who will be around my son for the first few months to get it. My mom had hers yesterday and my grandparents already got theirs. SO will get his in a few weeks. It sounds silly, however if they contract and expose our son they would feel absolutely awful, especially if it escalated to him having to be in the hospital or worse, death.

So yes. I'm requiring it of people.

I requested it but apparently the NHS only give it to the birth mother. They wouldn't let my mum get it.

My parents already have up to date shots and my husband is mandated by his work to have one. I still need mine /:
