Abdominal pain- 12 weeks pregnant

I've just had a sudden onset of sharp abdominal pain in the lower left side that is radiating to my back it's relieved slightly if I lay on my left side.. it's as sharp as my appendicitis pain was which I no longer have so that's not it, I've had a scan at 6 weeks and it's not ectopic.. should I goto the doctors or er or will it just pass?
