Abnormal bleeding?

Question

I finished my period a week ago and yesterday I had started bleeding. I didn't have cramps or anything and I'm not on birth control. It was really odd. Any ideas on what it could be?

Sometimes a bit of period could be stuck in there and doesn't come out until a few days later. Happens to me and my sister all the time. My mom had it happen to her. And if you had sex recently/toward the end of it, you may want to wait just a little bit then take a test. It is possible to get pregnant on your period toward the end. Very rare from what I've understood but possible nonetheless.

Same thing is happening to me today, looking for answers. Plus, my birthday is Monday, definitely don't want me period this weekend!
