gas drops?

Anyone use gas drops for their newborn? We tried gripe water and doc said it was ok. But the consistency is so hard for her to swallow. Thinking about trying gas drops.

We do and it helps. What it does it break up the bubbles in the tummy and or bottle if you are bf. But what I've heard works best is a product called mommy's bliss it is a probiotic so it's also natural unlike the gas drops. Women swear by it and it makes sense it would work. I have a fairly constipated 7 year old who has always been that way and she eats a yogurt with extra probiotic to keep her digestive track running smoothly lol. If you are formula feeding mix the bottle in a different container an add the gas drops it breaks up the bubbles. It is excess air that causes gas. Also burp often whether nursing or bottle feeding. Always recognize the signs of hunger so you can feed baby b4 they cry. Crying is a late reaction to hunger and when they cry they take in air and are more likely to feed faster. The faster they feed the more air they get. I have used this combination of things and baby is finally getting relief. Hope this helps someone I never had this issue with my oldest 2 not sure if it is because they were exclusively bf for the first 6mo or what but unfortunately my cycle came back early with this one and dried my milk up. So she only nursed to 2 months and that's when the gas started. But I guess it's normal and as their digestive tracks progress it will stop. Oh and if you are bottle feeding make sure to get a bottle made for gas. Our girl does best with latch and Tommy tippee. Sorry for the novel but I feel your pain lol and not only is it annoying for baby it's definitely not fun for mom either😉

I use gas drops on my three week old and it's a life saver! My poor baby would be up for hours at night screaming. Wouldn't eat couldn't poop or let any gas out no matter what we did.
