As I am considered low risk, my midwife has suggested we have bub at a local localmidwife care birthing centre. The facilities for a natural birth there are great - large birthing/labour pool, nitrous oxide available etc but no option for epidural or c section if needed. We would have to transfer to a local hospital if it came to that. I would prefer to have a natural birth and like the idea of the birthing centre but am a bit nervous about the prospect of having to travel if all does not go to plan. Has anyone got any experience with having baby at one of these facilities? This is our first baby
