So 6 days before my projected period I got the stomach flu and a ruptured ovarian cyst. Horrible I know. But anyways now my period is a day late. 5 days ago the hospital said I wasn't pregnant. So I thought one of those could be the cause but most of the stuff I find online says that if you got sick during ovulation week it can mess up your cycle. But I wasn't ovulating when I was sick. And it says ovarian cyst don't mess up cycles usually. Also my periods are alwayssss right on time or a day early. My fiancée and I have unprotected sex since we are trying to conceive. But do you think those two things could've messed up my cycle and I should just wait for my period? Or do you think pregnancy is possible and I should test and the hospital test could've been wrong cause it was still early????
