How was your period after giving birth?

Got it 3 days into weaning at 13 mos... thought it would be back with a vengeance after so long but has been surprisingly normal.

I am still nursing my 11.5 month old and no signs of Aunt Flo for me...hoping to try for our 2nd baby sooner than later but don't know how long that will take. Got pregnant on the 1st try with my beautiful son.

At 11 weeks pp I've only had one period. Never had painful periods before and this one wasn't painful. I have the nexplanon implant and am ebf so I'm not sure how frequently I'll get periods

I've had 5 periods since giving birth. Definitely far less painful but an extra day of bleeding compared to my periods before getting pregnant. At first they were shorter cycles too, every 28 days compared to my normal 32 days but the last one was 32 so maybe that's changing again.

I don't find it more painful but it is heavier and so far my cycle is longer.
