When to get off BC?

Shelby
Hi friends!! My SO & I are getting married in April 2018. We've discussed it & agreed we want to try for baby #1 immediately after the wedding, or even start trying the month of the wedding. Now here comes my TTC question, since I love trying to figure out what might happen before it happens..... I've been on the BC pill since I was 17. I will be 26 when we marry. When should I stop taking the pill to ensure I have my first period off the pill & my hormones are all settled and back to normal preBC? I want to make sure my body is as ready as it can be and completely off BC pill hormones so hopefully (fingers crossed) we can conceive in our first month of trying. Your thoughts, ideas, and your experiences are much appreciated. 😊

Get off a few months before you want to start trying. Your body needs time to adjust and become regular. Plus it will help figuring out if you are regular or now. I've been on it since I was 18 and I just turned 27 so same time as you! I'm also getting off soon this year I hope. At least by July but yea I have lots of questions about that also. I just know that if I get off by June or July I won't start actually trying till about August or September. Good luck!! 💜💜
