what does he mean? PLEASE RESPOND

So my friend kissed me like 2 months ago and I liked it and I saw him differently as closer than a actual friend. Recently, we kissed twice again and this time I went in. He said that he can't see me the same and I asked him what he meant and he said he sees me different then before. I asked what he saw me before and he said a friend and I said what about now and he said idk it's weird it seems different. What does he mean? Has he grown feeling towards me?
